
The Concourse D skytrain is able to transport 9,000 passengers per hour
- Miami International Airport's North Terminal, which is used by American Airlines as its Latin American and Caribbean hub to serve more than 25 million annual passengers and more than 300 daily flights, reached substantial completion on January 31, 2013. The only remaining work is the opening of Gates D-26, D-27 and D-28, scheduled to open by August 2013, and the Baggage Handling System's international-to-domestic transfer, which is scheduled for completion by the end of 2013.
