MIA Passenger Advisory – Taxi Work Stoppage
Miami International is currently experiencing a taxicab work stoppage. The following information is provided for passengers to assist in ground transportations choice during this work stoppage.
Shared-ride van service: SuperShuttle (305-871-1000) has increased van availability and frequency of service to meet your needs. For shared-ride service, please proceed to the first level ground transportation kiosks or contact a Landside Officer on the first level.
Public Transportation: Miami-Dade transit offers metrorail and bus service from the Miami Multimodal Center (MIC). Public transportation is located at the MIC and is accessible via the MIA Mover, located on the third level at Concourse E, with access through moving walkways on the third floor at concourses D and F. For information, please proceed to one of our information counters on the upper or lower levels. Route information is also available at the MIC or here.
Car rentals: MIA’s Rental Car Center is located at the MIC and is accessible via the MIA Mover, located on the third level at concourse E with access through moving walkways on the third floor at Concourses D and F. Sixteen car rental companies operate at the MIC. Check with a Landside Officer or at one of our information counters for availability.
Courtesy hotel shuttles: Contact your hotel and inquire about availability of a hotel shuttle. Hotel shuttles pick up and drop-off areas are located on the second (departure) level of the airport (view map).
