THIS IS HOW WE ROLL: Printmakers Delight

Miami International Airport’s MIA Galleries in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Public Schools Division of Life Skills & Special Projects.

 

Printmaking is a process of creating artwork, generally on paper and fabrics. It falls into four categories: relief printing, lithography, intaglio, and screen printing. Artists through the ages have explored the art of printmaking within their bodies of work. Recalling Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, Rembrandt, Hokusai, Henri Matisse, Doris Lee, and many others, students explore the art of printmaking and create artworks on a variety of two-dimensional surfaces.
