insites: Reinventing Photography!

Miami International Airport’s MIA Galleries in collaboration with Miami-Dade County Public Schools Division of Life Skills & Special Projects.
Many contemporary photographers have reinvented photography by using expired photographic papers, hand-made cameras, and other materials to affect light exposures while embracing the chance to experiment. These artists used innovative techniques to manipulate their materials and tools that created unique artworks. This exhibition challenged students to depart from the traditional use of photography and to think and reinvent unique ways to make new and non-objective artworks.
